About me
My Approach to Counselling
As an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic tools to best meet your needs. I provide a safe, supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions at a pace that is right for you. Together we will explore what has brought you to counselling and the changes you hope to make. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, life transitions, relationship challenges, or issues with self-esteem.
I believe the power of counselling lies in the therapeutic relationship we build together. I understand the profound healing that can occur when you have a dedicated, empathetic space to process and make sense of your thoughts and feelings. My approach is to meet you exactly where you are in your life. Taking time to understand the journey you have been on and exploring where you would like to go next.
Starting Counselling
Beginning counselling can feel daunting, but it can also be the first step towards a deeper understanding of yourself and what you want from life. To help you start your journey, I offer a free introductory call (15-20 minutes).
Following the introduction, if we agree that we would like to work together, we will schedule a 50-minute weekly session, to take place online at a mutually agreed time. During the initial session, we will explore what has brought you to counselling and any goals you might have. During our first session I will also talk you through our contract for working together and ensure you have time to ask any questions you might have.
The duration of our work together will depend on your needs, with regular check-ins to assess progress or any changes we feel might be beneficial. We can work together on a short term basis (6-12 weeks) or open ended, again this will depend on what works best for you.
What's next
If you would like to schedule an introductory call, please send me a message today and I will come back to you shortly to arrange a call at a time that works for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
