About me

Have you or someone you know been in a controlling relationship or experienced sexual violence?

You may have been through the criminal justice system or perhaps you didn’t feel you could report your experience and haven’t spoken to anyone about it.

Have you been left feeling out of control, let down, angry and isolated? You can’t think straight and feel as if you’re stuck in the loneliest, darkest place with no way out.

I get it; I understand how hopeless the situation might feel for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have worked with people who have experienced crime themselves and those who have witnessed crime being committed. I helped them to process their feelings in the aftermath of their experience.

I know from my own therapy that having time to explore our feelings can help us understand, come to terms with, and get through even the most challenging situations.

Counselling can give you the space to talk to someone who will listen to you and acknowledge the experience you have endured. It can bring clarity of mind and revive hope for the future

I am a person centred therapist and I am here to support you; to help you work through your feelings at your own pace.

It is really important that you find a counsellor that you feel comfortable working with to enable you to fully benefit from your counselling.

I offer all of my new clients a Free 30 no obligation consultation to discuss how I work, answer any questions you may have about counselling and to explore what you would like to get from your counselling.

You can book a consultation with me by sending me an email a text message or calling me with your contact details and I will call you to arrange this for you.

30 minutes that may lead to you regaining control of your feelings and emotions and enabling you to plan for a positive future. The one you deserve, the one that’s right for you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
