About me

Thank you for viewing my profile, this is the first step to your recovery and a brighter future. I offer tailor made counselling sessions for each individual client based on the presenting issues and your own personal journey.

At Blossom Tree Wellbeing I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore confidentially and safely of what is important to you.

I practice integrative psychotherapy, which means that I have trained in several models of therapy. I draw from a psychodynamic, humanistic and person-centred approach which allows me to offer the type of therapy, or combination of therapies, that is most appropriate for you. My approach is particularly suited to people who want to understand themselves better as well as tackle problematic issues or areas.

At times we can all experience life situations and events that feel very overwhelming. It may create feelings of anger, stress, being unable to cope with everyday situations, feelings of sadness, of being low, frustration or powerlessness. Sometimes it may be hard to find someone to talk to who will understand and appreciate what it is that you may be experiencing.

I offer a safe space in which we explore your concerns, focusing on what is important to you, without fear of judgement. I work in a warm and empathic way; I am committed to being genuine and real with you. I believe that this is an important part of building a good therapeutic relationship.

Choosing a therapist can be a daunting task, maybe this is your first time and you are not exactly sure what it is all about, or whether you have previously had counselling and are looking to return.

My role will be to help you gain a greater understanding and awareness of yourself and the problems you have are facing. I will not tell you what to do but will encourage you to develop confidence in your ability to help yourself.

During our time together I will attempt to foster an environment in which you will be able to encounter yourself and become more intimate with your own thoughts, feelings and meanings. It is the relationship that matters in therapy and I will endeavour to demonstrate integrity and understanding; often the sense of just being heard and understood can be a great relief in the beginning phase of counselling.

I offer both short and long-term counselling for individuals. I am fully insured, and I am also an Accredited Counsellor with the National Counselling Society (NCS). All my work is fully supervised. I also regularly attend continuous professional development training opportunities

Please email or telephone me to discuss your requirements.
