About me
Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may be struggling with anxiety, stress, low mood, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you or bring you Joy. Perhaps you are finding it difficult to cope, feeling lost or unsure how to move forward. Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but you do not have to face things alone.
My name is Eileen, and I offer a warm, compassionate, and genuine approach to counselling and coaching. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Together, we can work towards helping you feel calmer, more confident, and more in control of your life.
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and Person-Centred Counsellor, and I also offer Trauma-Focused CBT for those struggling with the lasting impact of difficult or distressing experiences. I incorporate Schema Therapy approaches to help identify deep rooted emotional patterns and beliefs that may be affecting relationships, self esteem and daily life.
Alongside therapy, I provide coaching for people who want to create meaningful change in how they think, feel, and act helping you break unhelpful patterns, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My approach is collaborative and built around you as an individual. I will not tell you what to do; instead, we will work together to understand what may be contributing to your difficulties and identify practical, positive ways to support lasting change and emotional wellbeing.
My experience comes from many years supporting people through voluntary work with the Samaritans and various veteran organisations, alongside counselling in a range of different settings. I have also spent over 11 years managing a holistic wellbeing centre, coaching and supporting people from all walks of life using mindfulness and wellness approaches to help restore balance and emotional health.
I understand how important it is to find a therapist you feel comfortable with, someone you can trust and connect with. I offer a free 20-minute introductory telephone call, giving you the opportunity to discuss what you are struggling with and decide whether I am a good fit for you.
Starting therapy can feel frightening, but you do not have to go through things on your own. Support is available, and positive change is possible.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
