About me
Welcome, I'm Donna. I'm a Therapist and Supervisor specialising in Attachment and Bereavement, offering online and phone support across the UK, as well as face-to-face sessions in my peaceful garden therapy room in Kent.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, low self-esteem, or depression, you're not alone. Life brings many challenges, and sometimes we need a space to explore them. Bereavement and loss come in many forms, whether it's the passing of a loved one, the end of a meaningful relationship, or the loss of a beloved pet—each can deeply affect us.
As an Attachment-focused & person-centred Supervisor, I work with students at levels 4-7. I use the seven-eyed model of supervision to help understand the work with clients and their world, but also yours, in terms of how it might come into the therapy room.
My experience as a therapist includes working with Kent Hospice and many years as an NHS nurse, which has given me valuable insight into the close link between physical and emotional well-being. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and understand how difficult it can be to navigate a world that often feels confusing or overwhelming.
Whether you're dealing with relationship issues, family concerns, or communication struggles as a couple, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help you make sense of your feelings and find a way forward—together.
I’ve also worked with young people in pupil referral units, supporting them in understanding themselves and the world around them.
As a registered member of the BACP, I work ethically and safely to support your emotional health and personal growth.

I am a registered member of the BACP and fully insured. My qualifications include:

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information
I offer a calm, tranquil space in which you can safely explore what is happing for you. I hold face to face sessions in my cabin where it is private & we won't be interrupted.
I also offer telephone & online sessions to help if you need flexibility, as time can be short in our busy lives.
