About me
Welcome to my page!
I’m Dimitra, a UKCP and AFT-registered systemic psychotherapist with a background in psychology and clinical experience within the NHS, including CAMHS, inpatient, and community settings, alongside private practice.
I offer online therapy in English and Greek, working with individuals, couples, and families.
Seeking therapy can feel like a big step. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin. My aim is to offer a space that feels safe, thoughtful, and non-judgmental, where we can slow things down and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing together.
My approach is systemic and relational. I understand emotional difficulties within the context of relationships, family histories, and the wider systems we are part of. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic models and integrate them carefully to suit your unique needs. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced according to what feels manageable for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a degree in Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Family Therapy from King’s College London. My academic training has provided me with a strong foundation in both psychological theory and systemic practice, which I integrate into my work with clients. I have experience supporting individuals, couples, and families with a range of difficulties including:
- Anxiety
- Depression and low mood
- Eating disorders and difficulties with food
- Self-harm
- Relationship and couple difficulties
- Family conflict and parenting challenges
- Identity questions and life transitions
- Neurodevelopmental differences
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

If you’re unsure about booking a first session, we can have an initial phone conversation free of charge. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the type of support I offer and to get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
