About me

A safe space to heal, understand yourself and create positive change

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or finding it difficult to cope with what life has brought your way? Perhaps you are struggling with low confidence, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, painful past experiences, or a feeling that something in your life needs to change.

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, especially if you have been carrying difficult emotions or experiences for a long time. You may not always know exactly what you need, but you may know that you want things to feel different. Counselling can provide a safe space to pause, reflect and begin to understand yourself on a deeper level.

I am a person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist supporting adults through a wide range of emotional challenges, life transitions and personal difficulties. I offer a warm, compassionate and confidential space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement.

My approach is based on the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I do not believe there is a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Instead, I work collaboratively with you, taking time to understand your experiences, emotions, thoughts and patterns at your own pace. My aim is to provide a space where you feel safe enough to explore what is happening for you and begin to make sense of your experiences.

Over the years, I have supported adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including:

• Anxiety and depression
• Stress
• Trauma
• Domestic abuse and violence
• Confidence
• Low self-esteem
• Identity issues
• Relationship difficulties
• Conflict resolution
• Bereavement, grief, loss
• Life changes
• Spirituality
• Self growth
• Healing

I have a particular interest in supporting people who may feel disconnected from themselves, unsure of their direction, struggling with their sense of identity, or wanting to better understand their emotions and experiences.

Life can sometimes leave us feeling unheard, overwhelmed or as though we have to manage everything alone. Having the opportunity to talk openly with someone who listens with empathy and without judgement can be a powerful and healing experience.

My role is to walk alongside you with kindness, acceptance and respect, helping you explore your inner world, recognise your strengths and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Whether you are facing a difficult period, working through the impact of the past, experiencing change, or simply wanting to create a more fulfilling life, counselling can offer a space for reflection, healing and growth.

I believe that every person has their own unique story, and I value creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, respected and able to be yourself. Together, we can explore what has brought you to counselling and what you would like to move towards.

I offer appointments during weekdays, evenings and weekends (please enquire).

If you are considering counselling and would like to discuss whether I may be the right person to support you, please feel welcome to get in touch. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
