About me
Are there things in your life which are causing you to feel depressed, worried or anxious? Or are you finding it difficult to cope with your emotions whilst going through a life changing experience such as the breakdown of a relationship? Through counselling, I can help you to explore your issues and make better sense of your feelings. As a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with experience in working with adults on a one to one basis, helping them to address issues such as, anxiety, depression, separation, stress or abuse. Together we will focus on your concerns to enable you to gain insight and understanding to unhelpful behaviour patterns and thoughts, which could lead to lack of confidence and negative self-worth.
I am also a qualified couple’s counsellor and help couples to explore and resolve couples issues such as affairs or abuse within the relationship, allowing them to find alternative ways of moving forward.
As an experienced counsellor, I also offer therapy to counselling students.
I currently practice in the Walsall area and offer individuals a supportive space to explore distressing life issues in a safe and non-judgemental environment. It is also my believe that the unique therapeutic relationship developed between myself and another human being is very powerful and instrumental in creating a trusting and respectful space, in which you can feel accepted.
As an Integrative Counsellor, my approach enables me to use specific theoretical models in order to help you cope with difficult life experiences, allowing you to achieve and enjoy your life fully.
As an Accredited Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) I abide by their Code of Practice and work within their Ethical Framework, which means that any information you disclose will be treated confidentially.
I also offer online counselling for individuals who are currently shielding due to COVID 19.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
