About me
Looking for support can feel daunting, especially if you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or coping with loss. You may be carrying a lot on your own and unsure where to begin. Reaching out can feel like a big step, and it takes courage to even start.
I am an MBACP registered counsellor with experience supporting people through anxiety, depression, and bereavement. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly, at your own pace, without pressure or judgement. You do not need to have the right words, and there is no expectation to share anything before you feel ready.
My way of working is warm, calm, and compassionate. I work alongside you to gently explore what is going on for you, helping you feel heard, understood, and supported. Sessions are led by you, and we move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of where you are emotionally.
I believe feeling safe and accepted is central to meaningful change, and I aim to create a space where you can begin to make sense of your thoughts and feelings and build greater self trust.
If you feel I may be the right counsellor for you, you are very welcome to get in touch. We can start with a brief phone conversation to see if it feels like a good fit, with no obligation to continue.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
My focus is on helping people navigate anxiety, bereavement, low self-worth, and difficult life changes. I work flexibly in a way best suited to each client. I work from an integrative model, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamics, Gestalt, and CBT, adapting my approach to each client’s needs.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique experiences. I believe in creating a safe space where people can explore what’s happening in their lives, gain new understanding, and build confidence in their own strengths.
I am committed to ongoing learning and development, with a particular interest in trauma, anxiety, and mental health. My goal is to support people in moving forward in ways that feel manageable and authentic for them.
I am based in Cambridge and operate from counselling rooms in the centre of town. I am also available via telephone and online for sessions.
