About me

Online and telephone Counselling available from the comfort of your own home from anywhere in the UK, with some concessions. Please look after your mental health.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile, please feel free to give me a no obligation call to find out how counselling can help you and to ask any questions you may have.

A little about me and my practice:

Hi my name is  Debbie.....I'm an adult, child and young people's counsellor with practices in Droitwich and Solihull, as part of my practice I am also a school counsellor.  Because I also provide online counselling you can do this in the comfort of your own home and be anywhere in the UK to have your Counselling session.

Some of the reasons why you may feel counselling would help you maybe:

• You are in a constant state of overwhelm and anxiousness

• You are constantly worried about what's going on and the future.

• You fear becoming ill or that of one of your family

• You just feel like nobody understands.

• Your emotions are increasingly out of control and disproportionate responses.

• You have a feeling that the life you are leading and the person you are pretending to be isn’t who you truly are or what you want to do.

• you are experiencing grief

• You just really need to feel listened to.

• You want to finally understand why you do the things you do, think the things you think, and feel the things you feel.

• You suspect your self-esteem isn’t what it could be.

• You feel your relationships could be way better then they are.

• You actually feel fine right now, but you are prone to low moods.

• You are tired of acting strong all the time.

There actually isn’t an exact, ‘right’, or single reason to see a counsellor there are many causes for seeking therapy, all equally valid and important.

If you are not feeling happy in your life, if you are experiencing stress and anxiety that is overwhelming, or you just sense that having someone to talk to could affect real change in your life, then now is the right time to work with me at Mirrality Counselling.

I appreciate how difficult life can become, you might be experiencing anxiety, family issues, sadness, loss, depression, separation,  or low self-esteem or struggling with your feelings but not sure why. If this is the case, then counselling will help.  Dealing with work life / school life balance can be stressful.  It may be you don't know what is wrong but something is. Beginning counselling can help you explore why you feel this way and help you to change something, manage something differently or see a new way of looking at it.

My practice is Mirrality Counselling, I offer a quiet relaxed space to talk so you or your child can explore what's troubling you.  I’m passionate about mental wellbeing  and am committed to making a difference to yours. I promise you listening ears, empathy, confidentiality and space for you to be you.  For your child we can talk, work creatively or play whatever suits your child and enables them to feel free to explore their worlds and worries.

I am a down-to-earth, friendly person. I will work with you  at your pace.  Counselling is a time for you, where you can feel free to be open in a non-judgemental and safe environment.  It can empower you to make those changes which may be holding you back, it can help you see a different perspective and change the way you manage it.  I am committed to supporting you through this process of change and as an integrative counsellor will work in a way which is best for you and the process.

I understand how frightening it can be when you feel stuck and like there are no options. But you don't have to go through it alone.  Together we can find what works best for you

I will offer you a calm and safe space to talk through your thoughts, feelings and experiences. I will listen to you with empathy and without judgement.   My aim is to build a trusting and safe confidential relationship with you,  so that we can discuss and explore your concerns safely and in confidence.

Being in counselling can feel like a relief and at other times it can feel difficult; sometimes even both at the same time. Either way, I believe that counselling can help and that together we can find ways forward that work for you.
