About me

It is entirely possible to be successful in one area of your life while privately struggling in another. You may be accomplished in your career, respected by others and accustomed to managing significant responsibility, yet find yourself experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, burnout, problems with alcohol or substances, or a persistent sense that something in your life isn't quite right.

I am an integrative psychotherapist and executive coach, working predominantly with individuals navigating the psychological complexities of demanding lives. My clients include high-profile individuals, founders, senior executives, entrepreneurs and creatives. Alongside my private practice, I have been brought in to support individuals within major organisations, including Moda, the BBC and Sony Music.

This experience has given me a particular understanding of the pressures that accompany achievement success, and how these can affect our emotional wellbeing, relationships and sense of identity.

My approach draws on psychodynamic, existential and integrative psychotherapy. Rather than simply addressing difficulties at the surface, I work with clients to understand the deeper emotional experiences, unconscious patterns and relationships that shape their lives.

Whether you are struggling with a particular difficulty, finding yourself repeating familiar patterns, or experiencing a growing sense of dissatisfaction or disconnection, therapy offers an opportunity to explore what is happening beneath the surface.

I offer a confidential, thoughtful and non-judgemental space in which we can develop a deeper understanding of your experiences and work towards meaningful, lasting psychological change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an integrative therapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with postgraduate study towards a Master's degree in Existential Psychotherapy.

My therapeutic training is grounded in psychodynamic, existential and relational approaches, with further professional development in trauma-informed practice and mindfulness and compassion-focused approaches.

Alongside my clinical training, I have undertaken extensive professional development in executive coaching, vertical development and human performance, exploring how individuals develop psychologically, navigate complexity and create meaningful change.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I have a particular interest in the psychological challenges experienced by individuals operating in high-pressure environments, including founders, executives, entrepreneurs, creatives and those in positions of significant responsibility.

My work often explores the intersection between professional success and personal wellbeing, including perfectionism, imposter syndrome, burnout, work-related stress, identity, self-worth and the difficulties of maintaining meaningful relationships alongside demanding careers.

I also work with individuals navigating questions of purpose, fulfilment and personal identity, particularly during periods of significant change or when outward success no longer brings the satisfaction they expected.

Beyond professional pressures, my work encompasses relationship difficulties, emotional disconnection, self-destructive patterns, alcohol and substance use, and the deeper psychological experiences that can leave people feeling stuck, dissatisfied or disconnected from themselves and others.

Further information

My approach to psychotherapy is rooted in the belief that meaningful psychological change comes not simply from managing our difficulties, but from developing a deeper understanding of ourselves and the patterns that shape our lives.

Often, the challenges we experience in the present are connected to longstanding ways of thinking, feeling and relating to others. These patterns can influence everything from our intimate relationships and sense of self-worth to how we respond to pressure, uncertainty and the expectations placed upon us.

I work collaboratively with clients to explore these experiences with curiosity, honesty and depth. While our work may involve addressing immediate difficulties, we also look beyond them, seeking to understand their underlying causes and create the possibility for lasting change.

I recognise that beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar, particularly for those accustomed to managing difficulties independently. My aim is to provide a space where you can speak openly, without the need to perform, meet expectations or have everything figured out.

I offer in-person sessions from Cavendish Square in central London, alongside online psychotherapy for clients across the UK.
