About me
You Deserve to Feel at Home in Yourself
I'm Danny, a queer, non-binary Integrative Psychotherapist who has been creating safe therapeutic spaces for over 12 years. I understand what it's like to feel disconnected from yourself. Through my own healing journey and specialised training, I've learned how to help people find their way back to authenticity, calm, and genuine self-acceptance.
You don't have to go through this alone. Many people come to therapy feeling:
- Unworthy or unlovable, carrying beliefs that no longer serve them
- Overwhelmed by anxiety and judging themselves
- Stuck in patterns of people-pleasing while losing themselves
- Feeling powerless or hopeless
- Disconnected from joy and meaning in daily life
- Unsure whether a therapist will truly understand their identity or experiences
Therapy has transformed my own life, helping me move from disconnection and harsh self judgment to self compassion and being more fully myself. I've been in personal therapy since 2010. My personal journey, combined with specialised training, shapes how I work with clients today.
Ethical Statement on Conversion Therapy
I am committed to inclusive, affirming, ethical, and supportive therapy for all clients.
I firmly oppose conversion practices, which attempt to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
I offer genuine acceptance as you explore your authentic self, respecting all aspects of your identity.
I am affirming of all genders, sexualities (including asexuality), and relationship structures.

In our work together, you'll find:
A space that welcomes all of you, whether you're LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent , healing from trauma, or if you're simply needing space to slow down and listen inwardly.
People I work with often move from constant anxiety to greater calm, from self-doubt to genuine self-acceptance, developing trust in themselves, and moving from exhaustion to feeling reconnected with what brings them joy.

What Becomes Possible
Imagine waking up feeling more at ease in yourself. Picture setting boundaries without guilt, speaking up without fear, making choices aligned with your true values. This isn't about becoming someone different, or putting on an act. It's about removing what blocks you from being fully yourself.
Clients tell me they value the open-minded listening, gentle warmth, and genuine understanding they experience in our sessions. Many find that working with someone who truly gets their identity and experiences makes healing feel safer and more possible.

Training, qualifications & experience
Core Professional Qualification:
Level 7 Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy (2016)
Scarborough Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institute
I completed this professional four-year training, leading to accreditation as a UKCP registered psychotherapist. The training involved over 450 hours of supervised practice and 900 hours of coursework, and enables me to draw from different therapeutic approaches to best meet your unique needs.
This approach views the therapeutic relationship as central to healing. Together, we can explore recurring patterns that may have helped you cope in the past but might now be holding you back.

Compassionate Inquiry (compassionateinquiry.com)
This year-long professional training enhanced my understanding of trauma, attachment and addiction. Compassionate Inquiry helps uncover the unconscious patterns that create suffering and offers a gentle path toward healing early wounds that may be affecting your current life.
