About me
With over 20 years of experience as a therapist and coach, I am passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I work integratively, combining techniques to help clients build resilience, improve mental well-being, and navigate transitions with confidence.
I have a special interest in supporting women experiencing perimenopausal symptoms, helping them manage anxiety, mood changes, and the emotional impact of this life stage. Menopause affects both the mind and body, yet many women feel unheard or unsupported. My goal is to provide a compassionate space where women can explore their experiences, regain confidence, and develop practical coping strategies.
I tailor my approach to each client, drawing on a blend of therapeutic techniques to best meet their needs. This may include:
Cognitive and solution-focused approaches for managing stress and anxiety
Hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques to support emotional regulation
Coaching methods to build confidence, set boundaries, and create positive change
Training & Supervision
In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about training and supervising counsellors. I work with ELECT Training to deliver CPCAB-accredited counselling courses, helping aspiring therapists develop their skills and confidence. I also provide clinical supervision, supporting both trainee and experienced counsellors in their professional development.
If you're looking for support, whether as a client, a trainee counsellor, or a professional seeking supervision, I’d love to hear from you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
