Counselling can be enormously helpful if you’re feeling anxious or upset or depressed and looking for someone to talk to, someone who won’t judge you but who is qualified and trained to listen and understand.

If you’re struggling with your relationships at home or at work or if life in general seems hard at the moment.......Then I’d like to help you.

My name is Corina Mackie and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.

I’m an experienced and highly trained Counsellor & Psychotherapist and a Registered Member of BACP.

I have worked with the Mind Mental Health Charity, Occupational Health, within NHS Settings, as well as Senior Counsellor at Yorks Counselling. I’m also a University Campus Counsellor.

I help people aged 16 + with all manner of issues ranging from Anxiety, Depression & Stress to Family/ Relationship & Work problems. I also help people who maybe feeling lost and finding things difficult to cope with and don’t know why. I offer counselling or coaching to people who are looking for help with making the right choices if you’ve become stuck in a rut.

My private practice is in the market town of Snaith near Goole & Selby. Easily Accessible to M62/M18 & A1 Networks. I offer Day/Eve & Weekend appointments.

I trained at York st John University which is a leading University in Counselling & Psychotherapy. I am Registered with The British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapy and adhere to their Ethical Framework & Code of Conduct.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
