About me

What Do I Help With?

As a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist, I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating challenges in their close relationships. While our connections with others can be a source of strength and support, at times they can also become strained—marked by tension, conflict, or a growing sense of disconnection that can feel difficult to understand or shift.

Why Consider Family and Systemic Psychotherapy?

When one person in a family is struggling, it often affects everyone. Just as the body mobilises its resources to heal an injury, family therapy creates a space for families to come together, pause, and engage in conversations that can bring clarity and understanding. It can help you make sense of challenges, repair and heal relational strains, strengthen your connections, and support one another through difficult times.

What Is Family and Systemic Psychotherapy?

Family and Systemic Psychotherapy—also known as Family Therapy—is a specialist approach focused on understanding the dynamics within relationships. It also explores how life events such as illness, loss, separation, and/or trauma, to name but a few, can influence how we relate to one another. Further, it works effectively with the diverse range of mental health difficulties someone may present with that may also be contributing to relationship distress.

Do You Offer Trauma-Focused Therapy?

In addition to family therapy, I have further specialist training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). This is a trauma-focused approach that can support individuals processing recent or past events that have been experienced as a trauma and which continue to cause emotional pain or overwhelm.
