About me

Who do I work with?
As a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist, I work with families experiencing tension, conflict, or breakdowns in family relationships; couples facing challenges in their relationship; and adults who are finding it difficult to relate to others in different areas of their lives. Often, though not always, a mental health difficulty may be contributing to relational distress, or a significant life event such as loss, illness, divorce, or trauma may have shaped the current difficulties - which we are trained to navigate effectively with you.

Who attends systemic psychotherapy?
Systemic Psychotherapy works with whoever wishes to attend. For example, in couples work, this may include joint and individual sessions. In family work, it may involve the whole family, a parent and child, or other combinations depending on what might be most helpful. We hold the view that no matter which part of the system is being worked with, it can positively influence the presenting problems you came into therapy for.

Why consider therapy?
Whether you are noticing repeating patterns, feeling ongoing stress, or simply seeking clarity, therapy may be a useful step to take. Therapy often creates space for a different kind of conversation to take place, bringing forth new insights and perspectives not yet considered, and work towards supporting meaningful and lasting change.
