About me

My Background

I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor and Counselling Supervisor and use the Person Centred Approach as my core model of work. I work within the BACP & NCS Ethical Framework and am committed to Continuing Professional Development. I receive ongoing professional supervision, during which I discuss how I am working and how I can best support you.

What is Counselling

Counselling can help you to find a way forward with personal issues such as depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. It can also help to overcome problems that are causing you emotional turmoil such as relationship issues and loss. In truth you can talk about anything that is on your mind.

Who I work with

I offer an adult counselling service for individuals within the Bristol area.

How I work with you

To develop and deepen my work with you, I strive to offer empathy, respect and a non-judgmental relationship, which increases my understanding of how you experience yourself and your life. In turn I find that this leads to you understanding yourself better and feeling more at home in your life.

Armed Forces

I strongly believe in supporting our Armed Forces and have a great deal of experience of working with both Serving Members and Veterans along with their families. I really do have a thorough understanding of the complexities and struggles associated with this lifestyle.

Areas of work

Here are some issues that people can find themselves trying to manage and which I can help with:

Anxiety, Depression, Abuse, Childhood pain, Gender issues, Loss, Bereavement, Heart break, Loneliness, Low self-esteem, Relationship struggles, Life transitions; Children leaving home, Caring for parents, Career transitions, Work related issues, Bullying.

Next Steps

I understand that taking the first steps into counselling are quite often the hardest to make however, if you think that I could help you, please make contact with me in any of the following ways:

1.  email me at enquiries@clivemasoncounselling.co.uk
2.  send me an email via the Counselling Directory.
3.  by phoning 07827 727951

In all instances you can leave me a message with your contact details and the best time to contact you and I will get back to you to take a referral.

Thankyou

Clive

I have always enjoyed Supervision, the key has been the supervisory relationship, which is, for me, critical to enhance the working environment.
