About me
Hello and welcome to Victory Psychology.
I am a consultant clinical psychologist working with Veterans and adults (16+) experiencing mental health difficulties, covering Bournemouth, Dorset and surrounding areas, but I am mostly online. I have specialist skills in treating combat and civilian PTSD and complex trauma as well as head injury and neurological disorders.
I treat a range of presentations, including trauma, stress, anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, and perinatal mental health. I specialise in therapy for those who have sustained brain injury, stroke, life changing injuries and neurological disorders. In addition, I conduct cognitive capacity assessments.
Training, qualifications & experience
Currently, I split my time between working in the Ministry of Defence delivering therapy for serving personnel and running my private practice, Victory Psychology. I provide clinical supervision to CBT therapists and psychologists.
I have nearly 20 years of experience helping adults during times of crisis. As well as being a psychologist, I have Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist Accreditation, with additional certification in trauma-informed therapy.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I am primarily working online at present, meaning that you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home, and without the added pressure of travel to and from the appointment. I work Mondays and Fridays, some evenings and weekends, so please get in touch for my availability.
