About me
I am a relational, open hearted and sensitive therapist who offers a confidential, non-judgemental, inclusive space to a wide range of clients. My practice is integrative, person-centred & psychodynamic.
How I work
I work creatively and flexibly in an embodied, trauma-informed and collaborative way to suit the needs of each individual client. Everyone has a different story and I know that with care and attention I can give you the opportunity to begin to understand your own unique life journey. I am committed to building a trusting relationship with my clients, providing a safe space in which you can express, explore and process complex emotions, enabling you to connect more fully with yourself. These understandings can lead to the building of inner resources enabling attuned, healthy, authentic relationships to flourish, both with yourself and others.
I understand that considering therapy can be daunting and it often takes courage to take the first step. I will support you through your experience with warmth, empathy and respect in a nurturing space.
I love my job! It is an honour and a privilege to support people through their personal and emotional challenges. Please have a look at my website for more information and do get in touch if you feel I could support you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced Art Psychotherapist and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Psychotherapist. I have a creative BA Honours degree and a Masters of Science (MSc) in Art Psychotherapy International. I am trained in IFS to level two and in Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) level two for couples. I work in private practice with individuals and couples, and part-time as an Art Psychotherapist within an NHS adult psychiatric hospital; working with people with a range of, often complex, mental health difficulties. I am also a guest lecturer on Art Psychotherapy Masters Programmes.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information
It is very important that you feel able to connect and build a trusting relationship with your therapist. I therefore offer a free, no obligation, introductory 20 minute online consultation for you to see if I am the therapist you would like to work with. In this session we can discuss your specific needs and the type of support I can provide.
I work in person and online. Both of these approaches work well and you can choose which is the best fit for you and the one you feel most comfortable with. I offer both short and long-term therapy and this is something that we can discuss together.
