Claire Thiel DipHE Counselling, MBACP
It's really brave and courageous to even begin to look at meeting with a Counsellor because life is feeling tough. It's easy to think we must get through the hard times by ourselves, or that we must be weak if we seek out help.
I think it takes real strength to begin to confront the things which trouble us; and I love to create a safe space where my clients will feel listened to, understood and not judged as they begin to open up about the struggles they are having.
I love people, and I am passionate about seeing individuals set free from the things which have held them back and tied them up in knots so that they are able to live lives where they can thrive and flourish.
I am a qualified Counsellor and member of the BACP with my own practice in Southampton, as well as working online with clients using Zoom. I offer hour-long one to one sessions and am trained in an Integrative model of counselling, which means I use a number of different therapeutic approaches to work with my client's individual needs depending on what works best for them. I have experience of Person-Centred counselling, CBT, Creative Counselling Interventions, Inner child work and more.
If you think you would like to consider having some Counselling with me then please feel free to email me or contact me by phone. We can have a chat about what you are looking to get from the Counselling experience and book an assessment appointment if you wish.
