About me
It's really brave and courageous to even begin to look at meeting with a Counsellor because life is feeling tough. It's easy to think we must get through the hard times by ourselves, or that we must be weak if we seek out help.
I think it takes real strength to begin to confront the things which trouble us; and I love to create a safe space where my clients will feel listened to, understood and not judged as they begin to open up about the struggles they are having.
I love people, and I am passionate about seeing individuals set free from the things which have held them back and tied them up in knots so that they are able to live lives where they can thrive and flourish.
I am a qualified Counsellor and member of the BACP with my own practice in Southampton, as well as working online with clients using Zoom. I offer hour-long one to one sessions and am trained in an Integrative model of counselling, which means I use a number of different therapeutic approaches to work with my client's individual needs depending on what works best for them. I have experience of Person-Centred counselling, CBT, Creative Counselling Interventions, Inner child work and more.
If you think you would like to consider having some Counselling with me then please feel free to email me or contact me by phone. We can have a chat about what you are looking to get from the Counselling experience and book an assessment appointment if you wish. If you would like to book a free assessment session to work online over zoom now then please use the link below.

Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with Middlesex University through Waverley Abbey College and have a Dip HE level 5 in Counselling.
I have counselling experience working in charities that deal with Addictions and Domestic and Sexual abuse. I have also worked in a general Counselling practice with clients dealing with relationship, bereavement, identity and self-worth issues.
I have worked in my private practise now for 4 years as my full time job, and have gained a wealth of experience and insight, which all contribute to the effectiveness of the work I do with my clients.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
