About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed with emotions or maybe struggling to name them? Are you feeling isolated with your struggle? Do you find yourself searching for answers?

Are you looking for support and change? Would you like to overcome how you are feeling now?

Sometimes, just by confiding in someone you can trust can ease the burden that is holding you back from being you.

I would like to offer you a safe environment to create that trust and explore together the things that are affecting you with complete respect, acceptance, and non-judgement. I offer wholehearted empathy and perhaps challenges surrounding your feelings that may be impacting your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours to unearth self-awareness promoting self-confidence and empowerment towards a more fulfilled life of which you are worthy.

I am currently working with adults as an integrative psychotherapist, which means I use a variety of counselling approaches to facilitate our exploration. These include person-centred therapy, psychodynamic, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, transactional analysis, and compassion-focused therapy with the aim of making a positive, affirming difference in your life. The approaches can be tailored to suit your specific needs and requests uniquely. Together we can explore your thoughts that may be impacting anxiety, depression, uncontrollable worrying, suicidal thoughts, OCD, trauma responses, relationships, low self-esteem, low confidence, low self-worth, bereavement, self-harm, panic, abuse, PTSD, feeling sad, lonely, or isolated and others.

Sessions can be short-term and open-ended and these can be available face-to-face, via video call or by telephone. Please contact me to liaise the best possible path for you.

Thank you for looking at my profile.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
