I provide a warm and comfortable environment within an idyllic and peaceful location. Each client is unique and so their individuality is respected and appreciated within the counselling environment. I tailor my counselling style to the needs of the client, as I believe everyone has the ability to reach their full potential in life. I offer a client-led approach in which I help the client on their own individual journey of self-discovery and reaching goals.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an integrative counsellor working mainly from a person-centred approach in which the client takes the lead as they know themselves better than anyone. I offer experience working with bereavement and loss, sadness, relationship breakdown or difficulties, self-esteem and confidence issues, as well as working with suicidality and self harm. I offer CBT techniques if necessary to work through issues of general anxiety disorder or depression. I tailor my counselling approach to the needs of the client. I have had experience working with individuals of 18+ years, from all walks of life and from all backgrounds. I place a lot of emphasis on the benefits of self-care on mental wellbeing. Together, we can work to discover your interests and ways of promoting relaxation and care seamlessly into your daily routine to enhance positivity and increase mental health
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I hold a degree in Criminology and have background experience working with individuals who have been involved with the prison system or with probationary services. I offer a non-judgemental approach to help individuals on their journey to reintegrate themselves back into society, or to help those individuals who may feel lost find their own direction in life.
