About me

I am an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor and life coach. I use the Gottman method for couples therapy. This is a science based method to help couples invest in their relationships and teach them the best ways to communicate.

I am able to work with individuals, couples or families who are struggling to cope for whatever reason. I have worked with Teenagers and young adults for 5 years and I also have expert knowledge of work related stress. If you are anxious or depressed, I can help you get through this difficult time. If you are suffering from loss, relationship problems or anxiety, counselling can help you find your way. I qualified as a Person Centred therapist, which means that we can work together to help you find your own solutions. You can go at your own speed, without probing or uncomfortable questions. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy BACP and follow their guidelines on confidentially and ethics.
I am based in Gerrards Cross and available for daytime or evening sessions.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
