About me

We all need someone to talk to from time to time. Sometimes, though, the things we're experiencing can feel difficult to make sense of on our own, and we can find ourselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure of what to do next.

After spending 10 years working in retail management, supporting customers to feel confident and helping colleagues reach their potential, I felt drawn to working with people on a deeper and more meaningful level. This led me to retrain as a Psychotherapeutic Therapist, and I now support adults in exploring the experiences, thoughts and patterns that may be affecting how they feel and relate to themselves and others.

I offer a warm, calm and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel heard. Together, we can explore what may be happening beneath the surface, whether this relates to past experiences, relationships, self-esteem or recurring emotional difficulties.

I work with a range of issues, including:

- Anxiety and stress
- Low mood
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Relationship difficulties
- Feeling stuck or overwhelmed
- Trauma and difficult past experiences

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, particularly if you're unsure what to expect or whether therapy is right for you. My aim is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can take things at your own pace, without feeling pressured to have all the answers.

Our work together is collaborative. Rather than simply trying to "fix" what's happening, we'll take time to understand it, explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and consider what might help you move forward.

I believe therapy is not about having someone tell you what to do, but having the space to understand yourself differently and find your own way forward.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Therapist, working with an understanding of how past experiences and unconscious patterns can influence present thoughts, feelings, and relationships.

I am an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and work in accordance with their ethical framework.

I have undertaken additional specialist training in suicide prevention and awareness, as well as supporting individuals who experience self-harm. This informs my ability to work sensitively and safely with clients experiencing emotional distress.

I am committed to ongoing professional development to support my practice.
