About me

From selecting a therapist to deciding between in-person, online, or phone sessions, I understand this can be an overwhelming process.

To help you in your decision-making, I offer a free 20-minute phone or Zoom consultation. During this time, we can discuss your reasons for therapy, explore how we might work together, and address any questions you may have. If for any reason we're not the right fit, I will guide you towards a suitable alternative.

My aim is to provide a respectful, non-judgemental space where you can feel safe and supported. I'm LGBTQIA+ friendly and committed to your well-being. Together, we can explore the challenges you may be facing, at your own pace.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a qualified therapist with a master's degree in Integrative Counselling. My approach values the therapeutic relationship that we'll develop together, and I may draw upon a range of approaches, tailoring this to what resonates with you most.

We may discuss your relationships, childhood, or thoughts and feelings. We'll work collaboratively to navigate any challenges you're facing.

During a session, we may go through specific exercises designed to help, or we might have more general discussions about how you're feeling. What you talk about will vary depending on what you want support with and may include areas such as:

  • your relationships
  • your childhood
  • your feelings, emotions or thoughts
  • your behaviour
  • past and present life events
  • situations you find challenging

I will listen to you without judgement and help you explore your thoughts and emotions.

Concessionary rates are available for students and those on no/low incomes. If you'd like to find out more, please feel free to get in touch or visit my website.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
