About me

I offer psychological assessment and services drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities to deliver a client-centred approach to therapy. I have over 10 years of experience helping people with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including depression, anxiety and stress, both in the NHS and private sector. I also have an interest in mental health difficulties associated with ADHD, dyslexia and other neurodivergence.

There are many things that bring someone to seek therapy and I know it can be daunting to open up and start talking at first. Together, we can find the way forward and find a therapeutic approach that works for you. Although drawing predominantly on CBT, I use techniques from a range of therapies to ensure that the therapy suits you and your needs.

I am now also happy to be able to offer ADHD assessments for adults through a combination of specialist assessment tools and comprehensive history taking.

Please feel free to contact me for a free 20 minute consultation during which you can ask any questions.

Training, qualifications & experience

Having completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I have been fortunate to work in a range of settings that have allowed me to work with a wide range of people.

I am keen on continuing to learn and recently I have gained a Postgraduate certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) from UCL and in Family Intervention from King's College London. I have recently completed training in ADHD diagnosis and the specialist tools used to do so.

I also work with the media to increase wider understanding of psychological issues.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
