About me
Hi - my name is Cheryl and I offer a calm, relaxing space which gives you the opportunity to talk openly and freely about things which may be troubling you.
Finding the right counsellor for you can feel overwhelming which is why I offer a free initial consultation. During this time, you have the opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy and I learn a little more about you and your situation - we are both then in an ideal situation to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
I am also the resident psychotherapist on Radio Humberside's Fiona Mills "Unheard" Show every Wednesday evening 7-10pm.
Sometimes life throws challenges at us which can throw us off course and being able to talk to someone who can help you put things in perspective and provide you with the ability to understand and address the problems you're facing can help you to find your inner strength and the resilience you need to discover your unique personally meaningful goals.
Having a space and time which is truly your own with no distractions and someone to listen who doesn't judge or criticise allows you to be completely "you."
My goal is to support you throughout your journey of self discovery, walking alongside you every step of the way, helping you to slot the jigsaw pieces of your life back together.
We'll take things at your pace and work on what you feel is important to you at any given time.
