About me
Availability
My main availability is on Thursday days and evenings. I have limited availability on other days.
Although I have experience supporting young people (as outlined below), my qualification means I can work with young people aged 16 years and over along with adults.
I work face to face from Bourneville Health Hub and can also work online. We can discuss best ways to communicate online if this would be preferred.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as an integrative counsellor in 2024 after studying for a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have been a registered member with the BACP since May 2025. I have worked across varied settings including working with adults recovering from addiction and worked with clients who have experienced domestic abuse in the past.
For the past 15 years I have volunteered and worked for a charity supporting young people presenting with a number of issues including low confidence and self-esteem, suicide ideation and self-harm, eating and body image issues through phone and online up until the age of 19 years old.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer a free 15-minute initial phone call to talk through my approach and see whether we can work together on either a short-term or long-term basis. Please contact me through email initially to set up a 15 minute phone call or video call.
Practice description
I work from a holistic hub office in the Bourneville area with on street parking free of charge for up to an hour or I am a 5 minute walk from Bourneville train station. If you have any accessibility issues we will be able to discuss your requirements during the initial phone call.
My first session
After our initial phone call, the first session is a time where we will meet and explore the initial reasons that you are seeking therapy at this time. It is also a time for you to see if you feel comfortable with me and if I am the right person for you to work with going forward. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions that you may have and see how I work. We can then decide together if I and my therapeutic approach will be helpful to you and if you would like to start working together.
