Community Counselling in Beckenham – Free Assessment & £25 Sessions
We currently offer availability with our carefully selected trainee counsellors, providing supportive, professional counselling at £25 per session.
Our trainee counsellors are in the advanced stages of professional training and work within a safe, ethical framework with regular clinical supervision from experienced qualified counsellors in the practice.
Many clients value working with trainee counsellors because they bring dedication, attentiveness and a strong commitment to helping people feel heard and supported.
Start with a free assessment
Everyone begins with a free assessment session with a qualified counsellor. This gives you space to talk about what’s bringing you to counselling, ask questions, and decide what feels right for you. We’ll then match you with the most suitable counsellor for your needs.
A supported and professional service
Our trainee counsellors:
- Are completing recognised professional counselling training
- Work to ethical and professional standards
- Receive ongoing supervision
- Are supported by experienced qualified counsellors within the practice
This creates a safe and structured environment for counselling to take place.
Access to qualified counsellors
Our practice also includes experienced qualified counsellors offering sessions at their standard fees. Availability with qualified therapists may be limited, but this can be discussed during your assessment if needed.
Who we support
People come to counselling for many different reasons, including:
- Anxiety and overwhelm
- Stress and burnout
- Low mood or depression
- Relationship difficulties
- Loss and grief
- Life transitions
- Self-esteem and identity
- Feeling stuck or needing space to think
You don’t need to be in crisis to seek counselling. Many people come simply because they want support, clarity or a place to talk openly.
Taking the first step
Reaching out can feel daunting. We aim to make the process calm, respectful and pressure-free.
If you’re considering counselling, the free assessment is a gentle first step to explore what support might be right for you.

Member organisations *
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
