Integrative Psychotherapist (MNCPS Acc.)

About me

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. I am an integrative psychotherapist who strives to create a therapeutic space where you experience empathy, acceptance, respect, safety, collaboration, and autonomy.

Drawing on 40 years in healthcare, my work as a nurse, midwife, psychotherapist and medical technology leadership roles has given me a deep appreciation for the complexities of people’s lives and how profoundly life’s challenges can shape our wellbeing and sense of self.  My experience spans being alongside people at some of life's most significant moments additionally supporting professionals in demanding healthcare environments, enriching the understanding I bring to my therapeutic work. It has given me a deep appreciation of the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and the challenges that life can bring. Each person’s journey is unique, shaped by their experiences, “stories”, relationships and inner world. I do not see my clients as needing to be “fixed” but often feeling stuck and unsure which pathway to take to achieve inner peace, acceptance and balance.

How I can support you:

  • Anxiety
  • Stress & burnout
  • Low self-worth and low self-esteem
  • Low mood/depression
  • Neurodiversity

Specialist areas:

  • Relationship issues
  • Coping with major life changes
  • Birth trauma, PTSD, and postnatal emotional wellbeing
  • Workplace wellbeing & resilience
  • Leadership wellbeing

At the heart of my person‑centred approach, I draw on a blend of therapies for what best fits your needs: Psychodynamic therapy (uncovering unconscious patterns shaped by early relationships), CBT (identifying and reframing automatic thoughts), and Humanistic therapy (supporting growth, self‑awareness, choice and personal meaning).

I work alongside you as you make sense of your experiences and begin to reconnect with yourself and your own sense of direction. The shift in perspective and positive change will then naturally emerge, rather than being imposed on you.
