I offer a warm, empathic and non-judgmental counselling service. Within sessions we will delve into how best to explore your current situation, this may be via talking, body/breath work or through art work.
I have worked with many different clients experiencing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship problems, low confidence / self esteem, self harm and suicidal intent amongst others.
Telephone counselling also available with increased availability.
Training, qualifications & experience
Qualifications - Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Practice Prof.Dip Psy C and Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Ad Dip PC.
I have worked for ten years with a leading young person's Charity supporting young people via online and on the telephone. I have also had a placement to gain experience whilst studying for both Diplomas.
I have training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I regularly attend training sessions to ensure that I keep up to date and remain aware of the changing ideas and best practices within my field.
