About me

I offer a warm, empathic and non-judgmental counselling and coaching service.

As a qualified counsellor I will facilitate the space for us to gently explore the journey that has brought you to the place you are in now. With greater understanding together can will work towards finding different coping techniques to help you move forward at your own pace.

As a qualified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) master coach I can help you overcome the mental and emotional obstacles that have been holding you back. By breaking through the negative emotional blocks you will get to live the life you want on your terms, being in control of your thoughts and emotions.

I have worked with many different clients experiencing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety / social anxiety, stress, relationship problems, low confidence / self esteem, self harm and suicidal intent amongst others.

Training, qualifications & experience

Qualifications - Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Practice Prof.Dip Psy C and Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Ad Dip PC.

I have worked for ten years with a leading young person's Charity supporting young people via online and on the telephone. I have also had a placement to gain experience whilst studying for both Diplomas.

I have training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I regularly attend training sessions to ensure that I keep up to date and remain aware of the changing ideas and best practices within my field.

NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner training completed alongside coaching qualification gained.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
