About me
With over 20 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and third sector, my integrative approach combines evidence-based therapies - including CBT, EMDR for trauma processing and EFT for emotional regulation - with practical life coaching strategies to support both emotional healing and personal growth.
I offer professional, compassionate support to children, young people and adults facing emotional and psychological challenges, by providing a safe and supportive space to help regain clarity and confidence.
I have particular expertise in supporting young people and their families when life feels especially challenging - whether due to difficulties at home, school, or in the wider community, This may involve emotional or behavioural struggles , family conflict, or the impact of neurodiversity. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, aiming to strengthen understanding, communication and connection within the family system.
How therapy can help
It can be hard to reach out for help but therapy can be life-changing for you and your family. Perhaps you can identify with some of these reasons why people might seek help:
- Feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, stress or low mood.
- Facing overwhelming life circumstances.
- Navigating big changes, whether in relationships, career or personal identity.
- Dealing with the impact of trauma and wanting to heal from the past while building a fulfilling future.
- Perhaps as a parent, you're struggling to know how best to support your child/children.
What to expect at your first session
I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation so that we can explore if working together will be a good fit. If so, we will schedule an initial session, either online or in person, depending on your preference. Either way, I will provide a safe and trusting space where you can go at your own pace and truly be yourself. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you uncover insights, shift patterns and rediscover a sense of ease and possibility.
