About me

Hello, I’m Charlotte — an integrative counsellor based in Exeter and also working online across the UK.

Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself? I offer gentle, down-to-earth counselling for anxiety, stress, body image concerns, burnout, and life's everyday struggles. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported—whether in person in Exeter or through online sessions across the UK.

We live in a society that constantly pressures us from all angles. It can sometimes feel that there’s no escape. It’s no wonder that stress, anxiety, and burnout have become so common. These challenges can deeply impact how we feel about ourselves and how we connect with others.

My integrative approach means that I adapt to each client, drawing from various therapeutic techniques to ensure the best fit for you. In our sessions, you’ll be in control, guiding the direction of our work together. My aim is to help you find clarity and strength in your life, providing a safe and supportive space to explore and work through any challenges you may be facing. My approach is grounded in creating a space of openness & trust, where you can feel comfortable and supported throughout. If you’re looking for a compassionate, client-led approach to therapy, I’m here to help.

You don’t need to have all the answers—just the willingness to begin. Having experienced counselling myself, I understand how daunting it can feel to take that first step, but I also know how beneficial it can be.

If you’re ready to regain balance, improve your mental health, and re-connect with yourself, why not begin your counselling journey with me today? You deserve to feel heard, supported, and empowered. You have permission to re-ignite your spark.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
