About me
Hello and welcome to my profile. I am Charlotte from Lavender Path, and I offer calm and supportive counselling as you navigate your bereavement and pre-bereavement journey. I see my role as a counsellor as being alongside you as you are walking along your life path.
I specialise in bereavement counselling and pre-bereavement counselling, offering tailored support for individuals navigating their loss or processing pre-bereavement or anticipatory grief. My experience on both a personal level, and a professional level allows me to ensure you receive a compassionate approach to your unique journey and I offer thoughtful, respectful, and personal counselling services.
Whether you are struggling with loss and grief and the mixture of feelings that are associated with bereavement like loneliness, anxiety, anger, or depression, or you are dealing with pre-bereavement, or are facing your own illness, I am here to support you. I can also work with you if you are experiencing other losses like redundancy, relationships ending and pet bereavements.
I am an integrative counsellor, and I have trained in a variety of counselling modalities. This variety of training allows me to offer a more responsive and fluid approach to your needs in the counselling sessions as I can be adaptable and use the most appropriate method for your requirements. I am also a trained hypnotherapist which offers another library of skills that I can call upon if they are suitable.
As with life many aspects can be interwoven and when working with bereavement or pre-bereavement other areas of life and your feelings around them may also need to be explored.
I am an online and telephone counselling certified counsellor and I can work with you either through online sessions or via the telephone. It is important that you feel safe and comfortable during our sessions.
I am also an autistic informed practitioner as it is also important to me that I make counselling available for everyone when they need the support.
Each person's bereavement journey is unique, and it can feel lonely, but you do not have to navigate it alone. I am committed to walking beside you as you process your grief and feelings. I am an empathetic counsellor, and I will help you find your path forward, providing support and guidance tailored to your individual needs through a collaborative relationship at a pace that feels right for you.
If you would like to have someone to walk alongside and support you then please do reach out to me. Take care and I look forward to hearing from you.
