About me
I am a therapeutic counsellor offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space. I work collaboratively and at your pace, supporting you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable.
I have 15 years experience of working with anxiety and low self confidence, including the persistent self-doubt, worry, and overwhelm that can quietly shape day-to-day life. Alongside this, I have experience supporting clients with neurodivergence, grief and loss, self-harm, school refusal, anger issues, PTSD and emotional regulation difficulties. I also have 20 years experience of working with young people in both school and the local community.
People come to counselling for many different reasons- you might be feeling stuck, struggling to cope, or unsure why things feel so difficult right now. You don’t need to have clear answers or a specific goal to begin. Counselling can be a space to slow things down, gain clarity, and begin to understand yourself with greater compassion.
My approach is client-led, grounded, and compassionate. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, and my role is to offer a safe, confidential relationship where exploration, growth, and change can happen at a pace that feels right for you. I am an integrative counsellor which means that I can bring a number of different methods of counselling to the sessions. These include talking therapy, CBT, creative work, sandtray, somatic work and many more.
I offer both in-person and online counselling, allowing flexibility to suit your needs and circumstances.
If you’re considering counselling and would like to know more, you’re welcome to arrange a 20 minute introductory call where we can discuss your needs and see whether it would be suitable for us to work together.
