Qualified Family and Systemic Pychotherapist

About me

Hello, my name is Chantal. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my profile.

I am a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with an MSc from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London.

I’m passionate about my work and aim to create a supportive, collaborative space where we can work together in a way that feels right for you.

My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of ideas and therapies - such as attachment theory, narrative therapy, and emotionally focused therapy - to suit your individual needs.

I believe therapy can offer a valuable opportunity to explore your experiences from different perspectives, helping to make sense of challenges and discover new ways forward. My goal is to help you feel less stuck and more empowered.

Creating a safe, trusting environment is at the heart of my work, and I welcome open communication and feedback throughout the process

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a UKCP-registered Family and Systemic Psychotherapist and AFT member, with experience working in both NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and adult services. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families, offering a supportive and thoughtful space to explore emotional and relational difficulties.

I have extensive experience working across local authorities with children and families, and my practice draws on a systemic understanding of relationships and context.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
