About me
Hello, my name is Chantal. Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with Msc qualification at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (King's College).
I am passionate in my work and offer integrative and collaborative approaches of working. This means that I draw my ideas from different modalities and theories such as attachment, narrative therapy, solution focused and many more.
I believe that therapy can offer us an opportunity to understand our difficulties in different contexts, it can open multiple perspectives of the situation and can generate new ideas and meanings, which can help us to feel less stuck . I believe in the idea of feeling safe within the process of therapy and in sharing feedback.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and AFT member.
I have experience working in the NHS in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, I have worked in a couple therapy setting and in different local authorities for more than 10 years with children and families.
