About me
MA, BSc (Hons) Medical Sci, CCTP (Certified Complex Trauma Professional), MNCPS (Acc.), MBACP.
Hello, I’m Catherine, a Psychotherapist who specialises in Complex Trauma. I’m deeply committed to creating a safe and nurturing space where you can feel supported in navigating life’s challenges. I believe that everyone has the strength within them to heal and grow, and my role is to help you uncover that strength while guiding you through the process.
As the founder of the private practice Healing and Happy, I assist clients by providing validating, empowering and life-transforming therapy. Using evidence-based techniques like CBT, humanistic approaches, mindfulness-based and somatic-focused treatment, I create a therapy plan specifically designed to meet your goals. I am committed to providing innovative, interactive and empowering therapeutic support to help you create the life you deserve.
I will work with you to explore your past, present and future and simultaneously build long lasting internal resources which may help you actively promote positive changes in your life. I understand that deciding to start therapy can be a difficult and emotional experience, so I offer an initial consultation to allow you to share your concerns and see if working with me feels right for you.
With a warm and collaborative style, I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment to help you build resilience, strengthen self-esteem, and establish healthier coping strategies.
