About me

Hello, I am a clinical psychologist specialising in anxiety, low mood, relational difficulties and life transitions. I have particular experience working with eating disorders, pregnant women and new mothers, and OCD. I work with a very warm, collaborative and practical approach. My aim is for you to feel more confident navigating your life. Together we will help you to develop a better understanding of yourself, break unhelpful cycles and understand where the past may be holding you back.

I know how daunting it can feel to face your struggles and start opening up in therapy. I aim to create a safe, caring and authentic space from the very first session. Change is hard and I aim to be a steady support to help you challenge yourself and access your own resilience. If you think I might be a good fit, we can set up a free call to talk more.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have fifteen years of experience across a range of NHS services and am trained in multiple therapeutic approaches. I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am an accredited CAT therapist (Cognitive Analytic Therapy) which combines cognitive and analytic approaches, so I balance practical, here-and-now strategies with deeper emotional work. I tailor my work to each client and we can think together how we want to work on your goals.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
