About me

I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, rumination, excessive worry, burnout, work issues, relationship challenges such as breakups or trailing spouse syndrome, as well as those navigating significant life changes. If you are facing challenges, you might feel like there is something "wrong" with you, but the reality is that all mental health issues have underlying causes.

I have experience working with multicultural clients who may have family overseas and are grappling with issues of belonging and identity. Whether you're a digital nomad, a trailing spouse, an abroad student, an expat or repat or simply someone navigating life's twists and turns, the psychological issues you're dealing with are valid and deserving of attention.

Psychotherapy involves establishing a confidential therapeutic relationship to address your concerns. Together, we will explore the meaning behind your experiences and have the opportunity to reflect on your feelings and examine the events in your life.

I practice integrative therapy, which means that I customise treatment plans based on your specific needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on various therapeutic approaches.

Therapy Expectations:

During therapy, you can anticipate enhancing your self-awareness and fostering positive changes in your life that contribute to improved well-being. While therapy may present challenges, the rewards are well worth the effort.

Treatment plans can vary in duration from short to long-term and can be conducted online. Typically, sessions are scheduled weekly for 50 minutes each, although these arrangements can be adjusted to accommodate your individual needs and circumstances.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a French chartered counselling psychologist, holding a professional doctorate in counselling psychology from the University of East London. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Paris VIII, followed by master's degrees in clinical psychology and sexology from the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium. Additionally, I have completed a postgraduate certificate in the person-centred approach.

I have spent over two decades living and working in various countries, including Belgium, Ireland, Morocco, the UK, and the USA. This diverse experience has given me a unique perspective on how cultural differences can impact personal and professional success, as well as how cultures influence identity and well-being during life transitions.

Prior to transitioning to psychology, I held leadership positions in the private sector, working with organisations, employers and managers. During those years, I encountered numerous individuals experiencing burnout, loss of purpose at work and career boredom. This exposure led me to pursue psychology, with the aim of addressing the psychological well-being of individuals in the workplace.
