About me
Hi, I'm Carron, a BACP Registered Person-Centred Therapist.
I work with teenagers and young adults, providing a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationships, self-esteem, family issues, school or college pressures, or simply finding your place in the world. My role is to listen, support and walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I am passionate about working with people from all backgrounds and experiences, and I welcome diversity in all its forms. Creating an inclusive space where everyone feels respected, accepted and able to be themselves is at the heart of my work.
Alongside my private practice, I work with Champions 4 Change CIC, where my colleague Effie Rogers and I offer a limited number of funded free 30-minute therapy sessions for young people aged 11 to 25. We are both BACP Registered Person-Centred Therapists with extensive experience supporting young people from a wide range of backgrounds, both in private practice and within the charity sector. We are passionate about making emotional support accessible and creating a safe, welcoming space where young people feel heard, understood and valued.
As well as talking therapy, we can also work creatively if that feels more comfortable for you. Sometimes expressing thoughts and feelings through drawing, writing, crafts or other creative approaches can make it easier to explore difficult experiences. There is no pressure to be artistic; these tools are simply another way of helping you express yourself in a safe and supportive environment.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
