About me

Whether you're feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, facing a significant transition, or simply sensing that something needs to change, counselling offers a safe space to explore what's happening. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

I offer a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement. I believe genuine relationships are at the heart of healing. My role is to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you untangle what feels complicated.

I work with clients experiencing a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, bereavement, low self-esteem and overwhelm, as well as those navigating life transitions, midlife crossroads, perimenopause and menopause, family issues, relationship patterns, and the journey towards greater self-awareness.

I am an integrative Counsellor, drawing from person-centred and psychodynamic modalities, which means I adapt to what you need rather than following a rigid framework. I believe the answers you're searching for already exist within you. My role is simply to help you find them.

Through our collaborative work together, many clients find they develop greater self-awareness, make peace with their past, navigate difficult transitions with more confidence, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others.

Training, qualifications & experience

As a fully qualified counsellor, I am a BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) member and abide by their code of ethics.

Alongside my private practice, I've volunteered in roles that deepened my understanding of what it means to hold space for others. I worked with PACT, a charity supporting women recently released from prison, mentoring vulnerable women through significant life changes. I've also volunteered with a low-cost charity in Wokingham, where I counselled clients ranging from 18 to 80 years old, both men and women, with a wide variety of presenting issues. Through all of this work, I witnessed firsthand how authentic human connection could create pathways to meaningful change.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
