About me
As an Integrative arts counsellor with 23 years of experience working with children aged 7 upwards, I believe in creating a safe and supportive therapeutic space for my clients. My approach is rooted in the belief that art can be a powerful tool for self-expression, personal growth and healing. Together, we will explore emotions, thoughts, and experiences, often using a variety of creative modalities, including painting, drawing, sand tray & miniatures, musical instruments, puppets, collage, and more; and sometimes we might just sit and talk. My goal is to be gently alongside you, as a guide, helping you feel comfortable reflecting and exploring feelings, and facilitating the deepening of insight and skills that will support your journey towards greater well-being and self-awareness.
Training, qualifications & experience
Hello, I'm an IATE/UKCP-trained Integrative Art Psychotherapist based in Hastings.
I am BACP registered, and I offer a safe, supportive space where children and young adults can express themselves freely without judgment. I attend regular clinical supervision and follow the BACP/UKCP code of ethics, ensuring that my practice is grounded in care and professionalism.
Alongside my therapeutic qualifications, I hold a BA Honours Degree in Fine Art, Thomas Hubl Academy of Inner Science 'Principles of Collective Trauma Healing' SOAS 'Certificate in Somatic Experiencing', Richard Swartz and Thomas Hubl 'Principles of working with IFS', Mind 'Facilitating Young People Hearing Voices' St Christopher's Hospice 'Grief Counselling Skills for Practitioners' and Stuart Lane and Delma Walsh ' Using the Arts to Improve Parent-Child Communication' which allows me to bring a holistic approach to all sessions. I am also a professional artist. I am currently welcoming new clients aged 7-25 for one-to-one sessions as well as parent and child sessions
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I charge £60 per hour for individual therapy sessions. However, I also offer a sliding scale for those who may be facing financial challenges, as I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their situation.
These reduced-fee spots are reserved for individuals in difficult financial circumstances, so if you’re able to pay the full fee, I kindly ask that you do, as this helps me continue offering support to others who may need it
