About me
Hi, I'm Cally.
I specialise in working with adults experiencing ADHD, addiction, addictive behaviours and emotional regulation difficulties. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns they don't fully understand and want practical support to help them regain control of their lives. They may struggle with alcohol, drugs, gambling, compulsive spending, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, low self-esteem or relationship difficulties. Often, they have spent years blaming themselves before recognising the role ADHD, impulsivity or emotional regulation difficulties may be playing.
My approach is warm, collaborative and practical. Together, we'll make sense of what's happening, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and develop realistic strategies that help create lasting change.
Testimonial: "Working with Cally has been life-changing. I genuinely feel therapy saved my life."
If you'd like to see whether we'd be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and BACP-registered Counsellor with 15 years of experience in various clinical roles across mental health and substance misuse services.
I am a dual-trained counsellor and CBT therapist, holding a Master's degree in both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling.
Throughout my career, I became increasingly aware of the strong connection between ADHD, addiction, emotional regulation difficulties and self-destructive patterns of behaviour. Many of the people I worked with were struggling not only with addiction, but also with impulsivity, overwhelm, low self-esteem and difficulties managing emotions.
This led me to develop a specialist interest in ADHD and addiction. Today, I work with adults experiencing ADHD, addictive behaviours and emotional regulation difficulties, helping them understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck, reduce self-blame, and develop practical strategies for meaningful and lasting change.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
