About me
Hello, I am an integrative counsellor working in-person from Horsham or across the UK online, or by telephone.
There are all sorts of reasons why you might seek counselling, and whatever your needs are, what's important is that you find someone you feel comfortable to work with. The therapeutic relationship between client and counsellor provides a foundation for the trust and safety needed to open up and explore your concerns, and is a key driver of the change, healing and growth that can take place through counselling. I build this relationship through active listening, empathy, being non-judgemental, trustworthy and genuinely present when we work together.
I trained as an integrative counsellor which means that I will adjust how I work to meet your individual and unique needs, and as your needs change over time, my approach will too. I am on an a register accredited by the Professional Standards Authority and a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, the NCPS. I work to the NCPS professional guidelines and principles to ensure ethical, safe and effective practice.
Working online or by telephone can help make counselling more accessible and for some, less daunting. My in-person practice takes place in a lovely private consulting room in Horsham town centre close to parking public transport facilities.
