About me
Perhaps you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed or low, or finding that life feels more difficult than it used to. You may be experiencing stress, having difficulties in your relationships, or finding that past experiences continue to affect you in the present. Sometimes, you may simply know that something isn't quite right but find it difficult to understand why or what to do next. Whatever has brought you to consider counselling, you don't have to work through it alone. I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can take time to explore what is happening for you, at a pace that feels comfortable.
I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, grief and loss, relationship issues and the impact of past experiences.
My approach is pluralistic, meaning I believe no single approach to counselling suits everyone. We work collaboratively to explore what is most helpful for you as an individual. I will listen to your needs, experiences and goals, and together we can consider different ways of understanding and working with what you are going through.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor with a Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Practice. Alongside my counselling work, I am a qualified life coach with six years' experience supporting people with their personal development. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the challenges people face when trying to make positive changes in their lives. Within counselling, however, my focus is on providing you with the space to explore your experiences, emotions and difficulties without judgement.
