About me

Perhaps you've spent years focusing on other people's needs, or finding yourself caught in patterns in relationships where you either lose sight of your own needs or maybe you notice you can pull away from closeness in ways that leave you feeling disconnected, anxious or unsure about who you really are and wondering why things aren't working out.  Maybe you've been trying incredibly hard to reach a place in your life that always seems just out of reach and now you're feeling discouraged and unhappy.

Therapy with me offers you a peaceful place where you can simply be yourself, where you don't have to keep holding everything together. Working this way can gently help you discover choices you may never have noticed before. One of the things I enjoy most about my work is seeing people becoming much more certain of themselves and who they are, more confident about their choices, seeing new options for themselves and feeling more at ease in their own lives.

Maybe you're feeling lost. Perhaps life isn't turning out quite as you'd hoped, or you find yourself depressed, angry, anxious,  or disconnected from the person you know yourself to be. These experiences can feel extremely unsettling but they don't have to define you or your future. Therapy can help you make sense of exactly what's going on, understand the patterns that can be keeping you stuck, and move towards a life that feels a lot more authentic and fulfilling.

If this sounds a bit like you, I'd like to invite you to an initial session. It's an opportunity for us to meet, talk about what's brought you to therapy and see whether we feel we're a good fit to work together. Finding the right therapist really matters, and it's very important that you feel comfortable and supported.

I work integratively, which means I'm trained in a number of therapeutic approaches and can tailor therapy to your individual needs. At the heart of my work is the relationship we build together. I believe that when we feel truly heard and understood, lasting change becomes possible. Together we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside, and help you build a life that feels more connected, grounded and satisfying
