Hi there, my name is Carmel. Thank you for taking a moment to review my profile. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and I am also, a Registered member of the National Counselling Society (NCS). I work within the three main counselling models: Person-centred counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic counselling. This allows me to work uniquely with each client, offering them a selection of strategies and techniques, that will improve life satisfaction.
I am passionate about creating a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space in which my client feels comfortable in exploring their current feelings of well-being. I am a counsellor who facilitates change through exploration. I work by assisting the client to increase self-awareness and self-acceptance.
I offer counselling to individuals over 18 by telephone and online. Firstly, we will arrange a consultation at a time which suits you. Initially, we will discuss what the counselling process involves and what you hope to achieve from our work together. If you feel that you would like to continue we will arrange another appointment to help you start your journey in earnest.
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile and I really hope to hear from you soon.
Wishing you well,
