About me

I will help you find a happier you.

Life can be difficult sometimes, sometimes more than difficult. At times life can throw us challenges and overwhelming feelings that can seem hard to cope with and leave you feeling unsure how to move forward or where to turn. It may be that you are feeling a whole range of emotions and just don't know where to start with them all. Or, you may know exactly what the problem is and just want to talk to someone who will be non judgemental. We all need some support in life and that is exactly what I will provide you with in counselling.

Counselling can help by giving you the opportunity to talk about you and anything you have going on in your life, whether it be unresolved issues from your past, experiencing trauma, patterns of behaviour that hold you back, or negative feelings towards yourself. Whatever stresses or strains it may be, I am here to help. Being able to talk with a trained professional in a non judgemental, confidential and empathic environment can really help you gain clarity on things.

It can be quite a daunting and nerve wracking prospect deciding to have counselling, not to mention who to have counselling with. This process may take a while for you to decide on. That's ok, take your time and go with the counsellor who feels right for you. I aim to make that part of the process as easy as possible for you so if you have any other questions that may help you decide then please do get in touch and I will do my best to answer your queries.
I am a qualified Person Centred counsellor who provides a warm, caring and professional approach. I treat each client I meet as an individual so we work through whatever your issues are at a pace that is comfortable to you. If after your first session you don't feel it is for you, there is no obligation to book another one, so you really have nothing to lose by coming for an initial session.
Let me help you love your life, everyone deserves to be happy.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me to book a consultation session or to discuss any queries you may have.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
