Whatever issues you are struggling with at this moment I can offer you a warm, open, non judgemental space so that you can have time to reflect on your life, your choices and options. Life can be overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting, but I’m here to guide you through any obstacles you may face. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and better cope with change.
I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor and as well as worked in a range of settings including a GP practice, I have worked with a great variety of people from a diverse background with a wide range of issues including:
- Low Self-esteem
- Confidence Issues
- Coping with Anger
- Bereavement, Grief and Loss (including pet bereavement)
- Perinatal Depression (including antenatal and postnatal)
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Workplace Issues
- Suicidal thoughts
- Traversing life-changing decisions such as divorce or career changes
- Family Issues
After extensive training in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, as part of how I work, I listen closely to you and work side by side with you to understand your dilemmas, help shed more light on them, and explore creatively alternative approaches to them.
Adopting a holistic approach, using insights from various theories, I can help you with the difficulties that are troubling you. We will discuss ways in which we can work together and tailor it to your specific needs. I work creatively, analytically and intuitively in exploring your challenges and sometimes that may involve laughter as well as tears.
I offer a safe space in which you can explore your concerns, focusing on what is important to you, without fear of judgement. I work in a warm and empathic way and am committed to being genuine and real with you. I believe that this is an important part of building a good therapeutic relationship.
I also feel the therapy I offer both equips, encourages and helps you to continue to grow and develop your understanding of your experience after therapy has finished. Providing you with the tools to help you manage your life calmly and more positively.
It's important to find the right therapist and so I am happy to meet for an initial consultation so that you can decide if you'd like us to go ahead and work together. You can contact me via email.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
