About me
Hello, I'm Bronwyn. As a kind, warm, and empathetic psychotherapist, I am passionate about helping people with their mental health and well-being. I offer a safe and welcoming therapy space where clients can explore their concerns freely, whether it’s discussing daily anxieties, processing current events, or working through trauma and past experiences.
I provide support for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, relationship problems, bereavement, loneliness, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, stress, phobias, and more.
Trained in pluralistic counselling, I believe that each client is unique and requires a tailored approach at different stages of therapy. Our therapeutic process is collaborative, and together, we will work towards your goals. Sessions are flexible to fit your needs, whether that’s weekly, monthly, or any other frequency. There’s no pressure to book additional sessions after the initial one, as finding the right therapist is crucial for your progress.
Therapeutic Services
I have a lovely therapy room in Pontypridd town centre, conveniently located just a short walk from the train and bus station, with ample parking available. To help determine if we're a good fit for each other, I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation. Finding the right therapist is essential, as therapy is a very personal process.
I provide in-person and online sessions, with special rates available for students and OAPs. Feel free to get in touch via telephone, email, or through my website at www.landegjonescounselling.com

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
