About me

I am an experienced BACP accredited counsellor, practising online. I practise with individuals and couples from various worldwide locations. I commonly have morning sessions available all days of the week, including weekends.
I practise integrated humanistic therapy, using appropriate methods of counselling that will be most beneficial to the client.
I have worked extensively with resolving and changing clients' problems with gambling. Nobody was born as a gambler, gambling is a developed habit. We work on that habit, towards understanding how it can be detrimental, in many ways of life.
Clients often realise during counselling how much gambling has cost, both financially and to other aspects of their lives. They then usually understand that resolving any gambling problem is going to be amazingly beneficial.
Counselling can help bring positivity and enjoyment to situations which may currently feel negative and depressing. Counselling can help a person to clarify their own emotional thoughts and processes around a troubling situation. Those clarifications can be another enabling tool to use in improving life's situations. Our sessions will be aimed to help issues of the individual, as well as assisting to recognise what the issues may really be, which are commonly different from presenting problems.
I practise counselling with couples who want to change their relationship situations. Everybody views situations differently. When people appreciate others' viewpoints their considerations often change. Our counselling can enable people, couples, to move on towards a more beneficial life.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
